Lieber User, liebes WebMember, lieber Bayern-Fan,
Seit 1999 arbeitete der FC Bayern in Sachen Internet mit der Londoner Agentur
sportal Ltd. zusammen. Was die längste Zeit eine Erfolgsstory war, ist
nun zu Ende. Sportal hat Insolvenz angemeldet und kann den mit dem FC Bayern
vereinbarten Service nicht mehr erbringen.
Der FC Bayern - inzwischen Spitze unter den Websites aller Fußballclubs weltweit -
hat alles daran gesetzt, seinen Fans und Usern auch nach dem Aus von sportal
weiterhin den gewohnten Service im Internet anzubieten. Nur eine Woche verblieb uns Zeit,
um nach der Bankrott-Meldung von sportal bis zum tatsächlichen Abschalten
der Seite, eine Interims-Lösung zu "zimmern". Doch es ist dem FC Bayern Online-Team
gelungen, innerhalb dieser super-kurzen Frist "Ihre" Website von München aus "zum Laufen"
zu bringen. Unter der www.fcbayern.de finden Sie nun wie bisher alles rund
um den Rekordmeister: News, Live-Ticker, Spielberichte und vieles mehr.
Einzig die Bereiche "webmembers" (Pinnwand, Gast-Forum, FC Bayern email,
Chat und Newsletter) , sowie vereinzelte weitere Bilder und Seiten waren
in der gebotenen Eile nicht wieder herzustellen.
Wir bitten Sie um Verständnis für das vorübergehende Fehlen dieser Sektionen.
Aber seien Sie versichert: Wir setzen alles daran, Ihnen auch diese Bereiche
bald wieder zur Verfügung zu stellen. Und damit möchten wir auch gleich
ein Versprechen verbinden: Wir arbeiten derzeit fieberhaft an
einer "runderneuerten" www.fcbayern.de. Und wenn die fertig ist, dann
wird es neben einem tollen interaktiven Bereich noch viele weitere
Inhaltliche und technische Neuerungen auf höchstem Niveau geben.
Unser Ziel ist es, unsere Spitzenposition nun ohne sportal in Zukunft
noch weiter auszubauen, damit der FC Bayern wie auf dem
Fußball-Platz auch im Internet weiterhin die Nr. 1 ist.

Since 1999 FC Bayern worked together with the London based agency sportal
Ltd. in all respects regarding the internet. What was once a great success,
has now found an end. Sportal was driven into insolvency and can therefore
not produce the agreed service for the club anymore.
FC Bayern.de - in the meantime one of the best and most visited websites
amongst all football clubs worldwide - did its best to keep everything
running. We had only one week to think of an interim solution, after sportal
Ltd. had declared its insolvency. But in the end FC Bayern's online team
managed to set everything up to make our homepage run from Munich. You will
still find all information around the club and around the squad: the latest
news and events, live-ticker, match reports and fixtures and whatever else
you need to know.
There is only one exception: the webmember's section (i.e. notice board,
guest platform, FC Bayern email, chat and newsletter) as well as the odd
pictures and page could not be produced in the short period of time.
We therefore have to ask you for your understanding and your patience in
regards to these missing sections. At the same time we would like to ensure
you that we will do everything to have these sections reproduced as soon as
possible.
It might be interesting for you to know that we have also planned a surprise
for you: We are currently working on a complete renewal of www.fcbayern.de.
Once we have started the new and improved homepage, you will find lots of
different innovations on a very high level in regards to contents and
techniques besides a fantastic interactive section. It is our aim to not
only maintain our top position without sportal, but to keep improving and
extending our service continuously in the future. We want to do it like our
professional team: Be and stay the number one!
